All of our rooms are light and airy and the majority have either a garden view or a view over the River Otter.

Each of our ten bedrooms have smart tiled bathrooms with either a bath and an electric shower, or a walk in shower only and are equipped with English toiletries and supplies. The rooms are decorated in fresh colours using Farrow and Ball paints, with smart soft furnishings.

All of our rooms have freeview television, telephone, radio and free WiFi, as well as a hairdryer, trouser press, tea and coffee making facilities and biscuits. The beds are all very comfortable with down duvets and crisp white linen.

We are delighted with our four poster bed handmade for us by a local craftsman, with matching furniture and romantic muslin drapes. The perfect start to a honeymoon or a chance to treat yourselves with additional room service features, such as fresh flowers, champagne and a fruit bowl.

We have a large family room with twin beds and the option of up to two rollaway beds or cots. There is the added bonus of a door to an adjoining double room - the perfect accommodation for a large family.

All our rooms are on the first floor, accessed by a wide staircase of 14 stairs with a landing half way. Of our 10 rooms, 2 are twins, 7 are doubles and 1 is single. A cot and highchair are available on request. All our rates include a full West Country breakfast.

Guests are encouraged to make full use of our beautiful gardens. There is a large terrace and decking area overlooking the garden where al fresco meals and drinks can be enjoyed. Various benches are dotted around the garden for a spot of relaxation, or for families and the energetic there are garden games and sports equipment courtesy of the owners children. A stroll around the garden will delight with its herbaceous borders crammed with a myriad of unusual shrubs and trees.
